Highly reliable computer mounts are an integral part of successful field computing operations. Ease of use, modularity and safety are all critical factors when considering what computer mounts to use. USAT’s vehicle mounts coupled with the experience of USAT’s vehicle mount installation services team assure you the highest level of reliability, security and rapid deployment in the industry.

Several factors influence the type and placement of mount(s) to install. Through a pre-deployment assessment a USAT’s vehicle mount installation specialists will discover:

• Driver/passenger ergonomic requirements
• Topography of floor
• Vehicle year, model, and make
• Manual or automatic, 2WD or 4WD
• Existing devices on center hump (console, radio, levers, flashlight)
• Height of seat
• Type of seat

The pedestal mounts can be used to support a variety of computer platforms/docking stations/port replicators. Vehicle Mounts can be divided into two categories:

• No Holes Bored Mounts
  Available for automatic transmission shift vehicles with entirely clear center hump areas
• Work-Around Mounts
  Used for applications where the center hump has levers, consoles, radios, etc. w/bucket, bench or split seats

Panasonic^® Connection
USAT’s mounting products for Panasonic Toughbook computers have been designed and manufactured to be reliable and durable when used in any mobile computing environment. The mounts have been designed in accordance with Panasonic Toughbook Tested standards and using MIL-STD-810F test procedures to measure levels of vibration reliability. High quality features such as floating docking connectors, commercial-grade hinges and rugged steel restraints are used in the design to assure durability over extended, repetitive use.
