Cisco 3G Wireless WAN HWICs

The Cisco® Third-Generation (3G) Wireless WAN (WWAN) High-Speed WAN Interface Cards (HWICs) for Cisco Integrated Services Routers provide the next generation of wireless WAN backup solutions. Cisco is introducing these 3G Wireless interface cards as an available upgrade to all Modular Cisco ISR routers (Cisco 1841/ 2800/ 3800).

Imagine WWAN for ISR. This Cisco Product is code-named Cisco Enzo, because the solution is predicted to be as hot as an Enzo Ferrari. The Cisco Enzo Project was first “test-driven” at CTIA!

This is Cisco’s first high speed, non-wireline, native IOS-driven backup solution for enterprise networks.

If your enterprise has 50+ of one of the specific routers listed above and is interested in early adoption of the Cisco HWIC, please email ciscohwic@usatcorp.com.
